Many of our hometown neighbors and friends will remember Coke from her days working at the Shear Shed II and Tan-a-Shear many years ago. And after that, in 1983, when she ventured out on her own and opened her own salon, “Coke’s Creative Cutters.” Coke was a salon operator for twenty-four years before closing. She has thoroughly enjoyed her career as a stylist and has met many wonderful and interesting people over the years who have become friends. Because of her many years in the business, Coke often jokes that she is the dinosaur of the salon. Well, this dinosaur is always the first to be requested and is always 100 percent booked.
Coke’s wonderful personality and love for styling shows as she works behind the chair. She has many years of experience and keeps up with the trends and her education as well. It has been a great career for Coke to have while raising her three children and now two grandchildren. Coke still has a great passion for doing hair and loves every aspect of it – especially cutting and coloring.
